The Leaning Tower of Pizza Tartan Day South Menu: A Review of a Disappointing Dining Experience

As we stepped out to enjoy a lovely day on the South Bank, we were eager to indulge in a delicious meal at the Leaning Tower of Pizza. The scenic views of the Thames and the Embankment made for a picturesque backdrop, but unfortunately, our dining experience fell short of expectations.

We began with an order of wings to start, which arrived promptly, but lacked any distinguishing flavors or seasoning. The steak skewers we had ordered were reheated in a microwave, resulting in chewy dry meat that was far from appetizing. The accompanying onions and peas were cold and unappetizing, adding to the disappointment.

To make matters worse, our plates were returned with salt and pepper already applied, which seemed an unnecessary step considering we had specifically asked for no added seasoning. It wasn't until my friend had eaten a small portion of her steak that we realized one piece was missing from her plate. Less than five minutes later, the exact same plates of food reappeared, leaving us perplexed.

When we politely requested fresh plates, our server's reaction was to offer a refund instead, which seemed an excessive response. We simply wanted a new plate of food, not a full refund. The lack of attention to detail and poor communication left us feeling frustrated and unsatisfied with our meal.

As we looked out at the beautiful views of the South Bank, it was clear that the Leaning Tower of Pizza had failed to deliver on its promise of a delightful dining experience. With so many excellent restaurants in London, we would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a quality meal. Perhaps a revisit with improved food and service might change our minds, but for now, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
